Pandora Battery Installation instructions

Custom Firmware Instructions

1. Charge your Pandora Battery.


2. (If you have an LED) Press and hold the Push Button on the LED Pandora
battery for 8 seconds or quickly press the button 3 times. It will start flashing.
This is means it is in Pandora Mode.


3. Remove the battery and memory card (if any) from the PSP
and insert the magic memory card into your PSP, hold down the Left L1 Trigger
button as you put the Pandora battery into the PSP.


4. Now, if you look on the left corner of your PSP, you will see two lights and the
screen will light up.


5. Now Press X and the PSP will install the 4.01M33 application.


6. Remove the Pandora Battery and insert the regular battery.


7. “ONLY FOR FAT PSP THIS STEP” Turn on the PSP and go to the Game-Memory
Stick. Press X and install the 1.50 Kernel Addon for 4.01. Click on X to agree to
the terms.


8. Hold the power button until the PSP turns off. Press the power button and hold
down the R button at the same time. This will allow the PSP to enter the Service
Mode.


9. Under the Configuration ensure the follow settings are correct:
Hide corrupt icons on enabled
Fake region on disable
On the UMD mode press X until you set it to (m33 driver –no UMD-)
If you are running homebrew games set 4.01 kernel to 1.50 kernel
Use the back option, and then go down to Registry hacks
Activate WMA and the Flash Player by selecting on it
Go back and exit
You now have 4.01M33-2!


10. For the 5.00M33 go to Game-Memory Stick, PSP Update ver 5.00. Follow the on
screen instructions. (Press and hold the triangle and the L button if your
PSP says that you need to charge your battery. This is to bypass the battery check.)


11. To convert a battery (Non-LED) from a Pandora to normal battery go to
Game-Memory Stick, then Pandora Installer 3.XX. Instructions will be on
the screen.


12. There is an ISO folder on the root of the memory stick.
Place your ISO files here. NOTE: There are supposed to be corrupted files
on the memory stick. These files are part of the initial installation and are not .exe
files.



If for some reason your 1.50 Kernal is not working on your memory stick, you can reload it by following these instructions.

If you have a fat you will need to download the 1.50 kernal addon. Download this file Click Here Create a folder in the PSP/GAME/update folder and name it 150K_addon500 . Next move all the files from this download except the 150K_addon4.01.rar and the readme.txt to the new folder. Then add this file to the root of the memory stick. Click Here
