What is a Pandora battery?
Pandora Battery is a battery that has a special program on it to place the PSP into Service Mode. Once it is in Service Mode different firmware can be installed and other options selected.
What is the difference between the Sony Pandora Battery, the Tool Service Pandora Battery, and the Led Pandora Battery?
Nothing. The Sony Battery is just original Sony product and cost more. They both will be able to be used as a spare battery when you are done with the downgrade. The LED battery can switch from Pandora to regular by pressing the button on the front. The Tool and Sony battery will need the included software to convert.
How easy is it to install the Magic Memory Stick Software?
It is very easy. You will just have to put the Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick into the PSP and press X. That will load the 4.01M33-2. If you would like you can upgrade to the 5.00M33-3 just by selecting it. The rest is just as easy. Everything you will need to know are in the included instructions.
What does the Pandora battery allow me to do?
The Pandora battery will allow you to downgrade and/or install custom firmware. It will also fix a bricked PSP or a PSP that has a black screen then turns off.
Does this Pandora battery work on both "fat" and "slim" PSPs?
Yes it does work on ANY PSP! Both Fat and Slim. It will not work with the new PSP 3000. At least not yet.
Can the battery be used for more than 1 PSP?
Yes the Pandora battery and memory stick can be used as many times as you like again and again. Once the battery option is selected to use as a normal battery. There are extra steps involved to convert back to Pandora. Our batteries can be converted back into normal after the conversion.
Would this harm my PSP in any way?
There is no Danger in using the Pandora Battery. It will not brick your PSP.
